Key Benefits of Ramadan Nigehban Package 2026
The Ramadan Nigehban Package 2026 is designed to benefit over 4.2 million deserving families, helping nearly 10 million people across Punjab.
Cash Assistance of Rs. 10,000
- Each eligible family will receive Rs. 10,000 cash during Ramadan.
- The amount will be provided through official and verified channels.
Nigehban Card (ATM Enabled)
- More than 2 million families will receive a Nigehban Card.
- The card can be used to:
- Withdraw cash from Bank of Punjab (BOP) ATMs
- Use the 1-Link ATM network
- Purchase essential food items at subsidized rates
Punjab Ration Card Upgrade
- Existing Punjab Ration Card holders will receive a special Ramadan subsidy.
- Monthly assistance will increase from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000 for Ramadan 2026.
Free Iftar Dastarkhwan
- Under the program “Nigehban Dastarkhwan – Maryam Kay Mehman”:
- 8 iftar centers will be set up in each tehsil
- Each center will serve free iftar to 2,000 people daily
